WET ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR (WESP) F-01

Description

The gas treatment plant produced by PAIP has a filtration capacity of up to 120,000 Am3/H. The gaseous emissions from the biomass dryer are conducted, first, to a Gas Pre-washer and then to a Wet Electrostatic Filter (or wet electrostatic precipitator).

The Gas Pre-washer decreases the temperature of the gases and removes the larger or soluble particles, allowing greater efficiency of the equipment over time.

Subsequently, the gases are taken to a Wet Electrostatic Filter, industrial equipment recognized worldwide as the main technology to control emissions with sub-micron particles, preventing the nanoparticles of ash and combustion fumes, responsible for the negative visual impact of this process, from being sent into the atmosphere.

They are highly efficient equipment that work by generating an electrostatic field in the path of particles suspended in the air flow.

Benefits

  • Compact, technologically advanced and fully adapted to the olive pomace drying sector
  • Visual impact of drying activity will be reduced and will contribute to environmental sustainability
  • Low running and maintenance costs
  • Designed for minimal human intervention
  • The entire system is manufactured in modules to minimize transport and minimize assembly time
  • The system can be applied to the chimney currently installed in the drying section.
  • Particle capture efficiency ღ> 98%

Capacity

  • The PAIP F01 / 120 equipment guarantees the treatment of gases up to a flow rate of 120 000 Am3 / h

Ultrafiltration

The treatment plant generates contaminated water during the gas washing process and, if desired, can be associated (OPTIONAL), both to the Gas Pre-washer and to the Electrostatic Humid Filter, a water treatment station.

The water treatment is carried out using ultrafiltration membranes.
